Careers Counselling

Happy National Careers Week!

We had a busy & exciting start to the term 2, as we organised & conducted the following activities:

  1. The Year 11 Elevate Session: ‘Study Sensei' in week 1 focusing on developing high-level study & revision techniques presented by high achieving current university students.
  2. The Year 10 Mock Interviews in Week 2: Experienced volunteers conducted one on one job interviews to teach what is expected & to receive valuable insight into the world of work. Over 50% of university graduates have not worked a single day in their life, so more experience equals better work opportunities.
  3. Year 12 Federation University Presentation in Week 3: Students learned about one of the easiest pathways into medicine in Australia & gained insights into university services & had a chance to ask their questions.
  4. Year 12 RMIT University Presentation in Week 5: Students learned about some of the options on offer, as part of National Careers Week. More can be read about this at: www.careersweek.com.au
  5. Ask the Practitioner Service: This is a new service we have launched giving you the parents & students to ask questions to us privately, 24/7, via this link: t.ly/5Hcm

Remember: students who get counselling feel confident & achieve more.

Kind Regards,
Mr. Mithat Demir
